Our first list of spelling words have come home along with a letter explaining how Mrs. Kimball and I will be doing Spelling this year. I sent a couple of practice pages for homework. Have students practice reading and writing these words with you at home. Today I sent home a "Number Detective" game and asked students to play it with someone at home. Over the next few weeks students will have reading homework with books at their level to practice at home. When students return their homework they will get a "gem" to put into their special box. Our class is very excited about earning gems!
